doppler

Hi,

Does anyone know if you can buy a doppler in the shops rather than by mail order? I find mail order a right pain because of being at work and not beiong here when they try to deliver it!

Thanks

Cath

Mothercare sell one and I think Argos do too, but I've heard that it's not that good.

Not sure - you can send it to work though. I always do that. Or my sisters.

We used to be able to send personal parcels to work, but they recently issued something to say that for security reasons, we weren't to do that any more! Everything needs to have some kind of company reference number on it to be accepted by our post room now - bummer! I wanted an angel sounds one - I have read that they are the best?
I might have to wait till Mum & Dad come back from hols and then get it delivered to them instead.

Thanks!

Yeah I have an angelsounds and it's brilliant! Could you maybe ask one of your neighbours if they would mind?

The ones that we are friendly with all work too
Anyway, DH has said that if I get one, the first time I panic about not finding the heartbeat, he is going to pack it in it's box and sell it on ebay! And that is quite likely!

I never panic because I know I'm not a MW but I've found it everytime, you quickly learn where you're most likely to find it.

Yeah, I would definately go with the Angelsounds one as well, as it is really good and it gets loads of thumbs up from the girls on this forum. I recently bought the green one and it is brilliant. Watch you don't buy the foam one from Ebay as loads of girls have had problems with this one - see previous thread on this.

You can buy one called Summerbaby (I think) from Mothercare, Argos and Boots but it doesn't really get a great write up and you are reccomended to use it over 20 weeks.

DONT get the ANgel sounds 2008 version where you do NOT need any gel. It's rubbish and a lot of us complaining about it...i find the thread where it's been mentioned.

I've ordered the Hi Bebe one and from websit mumknowsbest. I got it delieved to alternative address due to delivery probs also.
