Question

New

Hello Everyone. I'm new to this and wondering if there are others who have placenta previa. I found out 4 weeks ago that this was the cause of my bleeding and the doctor is hoping that the growth of the baby will help to correct since I'm early in the pregnancy. Anyone else with this problem? What did your doctors do?

I've never had this, but I've had a friend who did. Her pregnancy was fine.. just closely monitored..... it moved enough for her to have a natural birth... The only worry is delivery. if it's still covering the cervix, they'll deliver you by c-section ... It's good that they know now, and can monitor you.

HIya hun, I've had this twice and in both cases it moved when LO grew and was able to have a natural delivery, a friend of mine also had it but hers never moved and she ended up with a c section but with no risk to LO, only time will tell, best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy x

Hi hon! Don't worry- my father has been an OB/Gyn and Fertility Specialist for 30 years. He says it is totally manageable- you'll just have more visits to keep it in check.

Look at it this way which may help- if you have a c-section, you can by-pass all the horrible hours of labour! Some of us would say that was a result!
