Hi Becky, i had a very similar problem a couple of weeks ago and again it was my gallbladder! Cholecystitis is what its called (inflammation of the gallbladder).
Not sure about you but i had a weeks course of antibiotics and obviously had to avoid all fatty foods. I am having an ultrasound next week to see if the problem can be identified ( could be gallstones, could just be inflammed)
It may be worth you asking your gp for one too.

My mum had hers taken out over a year ago now and I remember how bad she was. We thought she was having a heart attack once! She had gangreen on hers aswell. Hope you feel better, try to rest, there's nothing you can to just try hang on in there and hope the pain eases.

If you can stay on a low fat diet, that helps with the pain, and drink more water. I feel your pain.
