Hiya peeps,

As some of you know, I haven't been gaining weight through this pregnancy, which is odd, as with the boys, I really piled it on !!! Must be coz it's a girl

Anyways, I went to the drop in clinic, and manage to see my midwife, which is good, coz I wasn't due another official appointment with her til 28 weeks.

She listened to Mia's heartbeat, all good. And then measured my bump, 22-23cm... So I said to her that at my 12 week scan, Mia had measured bigger than my LMP dates, but I was told that the Due Date wouldn't be changed. She said, Oh No, we go by the scan date !! So, I am now changing it. I've changed the date in my notes, and I'm not being budged. It means I must have ovulated early

She weighed me too... even though she said they've just stopped weighing pregnant woman now, as it;s now felt it bears no relation to the progress of the pregnancy. I weighed 88.4kgs this time round.. and I was 88kgs at my 8 weeks booking in. I'm gonna be a right skinny cow when Mia's born !! That is if I don't suddenly start piling it on in the next weeks.

I'm going to assume tht they will agree to my c-section now too, so Mia's birthday will probably be September the 2nd Slightly awkward with the beginning of school though.... and where would that leave her in regards to starting school... would she be at the older end, or the younger end... I think I need Lisa to answer this one

If she´s born September 2nd she´d probably be at the older end, I think they start you from the beginning of September. My birthday is 23rd August, so I was one of the youngest in my year.

If that makes sense?!?

Do the midwives automatically measure bumps? Cos mine hasn´t, the only thing she does with it is check the heartbeat.

Hey hun a friend was the same as you with her boy she put on weight and with her girl she almost lost weight through her pregnancy was really strange! lucky you skinny minnie!!

From memory of my old school September and October friends were the oldest in the year but not sure if that is definite as another friend was August and she was youngest in the year. Obviously being an old lady that was a long time ago and I am sure things have changed since then!! Sorry if I waffled and if I have confused you even more I think I have just given myself a headache!!
