Feeling Fat and Depressed Anyone?

Hi all!

Have any of you been feeling out of sorts lately? I have. I guess it is a normal feeling during this time. I feel fat and depressed and it doesn't help when you get a haircut to make you feel better but the haircut is horrible!

What do you do to cheer yourself up? I need some ideas and maybe help some other mama's in the process.

yes I feel fat and yes Im depressed about it the weathers not been helping to much its making me really sluggish I think Im going to go for a facial they always make me feel pretty dont get me wrong I love my bump its just hard to see your body change so quickly

I haven't been so bad....YET! However, as the weather gets warmer I will probably start to feel big and frumpy. You know, that time of year where you usually feel so good and proud of what you have and can wear shorts and tank tops? Well, it won't quite be like that this summer! LOL

Me too. I can't wait until I can feel the baby move - maybe then I'll feel pregnant & not just fat.

Yesterday, the Air Conditioning installer guy who believed himself to be a pregnancy expert ( he has 2 kids ) commented on how I'm definitely having a girl since I look wide and pregnant from behind! Oh, and hat I also walk like a duck

So yeah, sign me up for the feeling fat and depressed club too.

I've gained 2 kilos since the beginning but I can't really come to terms with the fact that everything seems to be rounding up a bit.

I feel huge! It doesn't help when I look at all those gorgeous summer dresses. Meh.

@ jokasta- I'm widening from behind and I am having a boy. He doesn't know what he is talking about. Try not to take it personally - when was the last time a builder was held up as the bastion of sensitivity?

I'm sorry you're feeling bad...

We're all slightly depressed about not being able to wear bikinis and summer dresses,short skirts...But actually it's good because this summer people will know I'm pregnant so it won't be so bad and I'll have time to loose the pregnancy weight by next summer...

I just feel fat, i have no bump im just getting WIDE and getting a bump around my back grrrrr iv never had any fat on me before im not sure i like it.

Speaking about bikinis...I definitely should not have tried the size 8 candy pink, low rise bikini inside a narrow, fluorescent lit changing room

I think this is all normal. We're getting rounder because we are making a baby not because we had too many kebabs ( well, OK, maybe that too...)

I don't mean this to sound how it's going to sound, but if you're feeling fat and depressed now you're just going to get fatter and more depressed. Chill out, you're having a baby!
