Now I'm wondering about front/rear facing options too!

Lets just hope someone on here has it all sussed so they can give us some useful advice.

By the way, there's a lovely lady in Preston Babies R Us that spent ages showing us all the different models. Even though I'll be buying mine in Reading (bless her!).

it is difficult! Was the silver cross 3d u looked at? We saw it in toys r us yea, but it was jus soo hard to collapse! It put Dp off totally. I liked it jus wished it had rear facing option - much the same as m and p's pliko pramette. Babies r us (that store anyway) tho, seems to have a lot of big bulky prams on display such as the graco ones. they jus won't fit in our house!

DAMMIT! Thought I had it sussed!!!

have you thought of the mamas and papas venezia? the handle goes both ways, so the seat is forward or rear facing..... its gonna be hard for you to find as not that many places seem to stock them, i had one with my last child and thought it was fantastic -also you can add the car seat on to it if you want it to use it as a travel system

Is this one also known as the Skoot? That is M&P and has a movable handle too!

Like my OH does not see the point in the pram i want, but then i made some comment to the fact that i liked his idea about saftey and things and that i thought his idea of a lying down carseat was great (the pram i want does that) also said that u know its the only one that looks masculine as well.... cant really remember exactly what i said but seemed to have worked and now im getting pestered into going to john lewis to see it ha ha ha!!
Doubt that helps really but hey ho hope you get the one you want in the end. Alternativly make him feel guilty that he's done something really bad and blackmail him for it. Maybe im just really mean i should prob keep quiet ha ha ha!!
Blob...i love that idea haha! if only there was a way to convince him it was his idea though, its been totally mine. I played the literacy stratergy card on him and that didn't go down aswell as hoped. I also played the i've not asked for much and this is my first and i always wanted card (true tho!) that ddin't wash either!

God i'm making DP sound awful. He honestly isn't!! It's just because he's having money worries, and so am I. Obviously, maternity pay means theres gonna b a cut in our income for a year. But i jus think a little bit more money spent on this will b so much more worth while.

Lol Gde! Well mothercare are at the show aren't they and i've only seen the linear at mothercare so hopefully they'll take one along for you to try. You might feel differently about it. I would deffo check how it folds, not seen it folded myself, jus going off what the advisor said.

Yep - that's the experience I had too. Though I still learnt a lot from the lady in there. I need to venture into Reading some time over the next couple of weeks to look in M&Ps and John Lewis. Hopefully we'll be able to decide on something - still have 18 weeks!

I have checked out the net and can't find it anywhere cheaper than £499. There are lots of excellent Ulitma 8 in 1s on ebay but you will prob want a new one....? But if you don't mind second hand there are loads of bargains!!

xx
