runny egg ?


Am I allowed an egg with a runny middle ? Ella has just ha done now I am craving it!

It is on the list of things not to eat for us!! It is because of the risk of salmonella in the uncooked egg. I think that this is an old one, as eggs and chickens are cleared and CE marked these days. So if you're craving one, just make sure it is CE marked.
I have to say that, even though I know this, I daren't risk it! But thats just me being neurotic!!

been craving this the whole time but im afraid the answer to this is to avoid raw eggs. that includes runny ones and things made with raw eggs like no bake cakes or mousse. sucks i totally sympathize!!

as long as its cooked in the middle its fine, like a boiled egg should be hard boiled and a friend one turned over and not sunny side up

Just have one have u ever had food poisoning from an egg before ? ive eaten runny eggs with both my pregnancies and they no problems if you tell yourself no you will want it even more. u prob find it wasnt that good anyway ha ha go on tuck in x x

p.s im due the same date as you with another little girl good luck x

I ended up with cheese on toast which was pretty good anyway :-) but I think tommorow I might treat myself!

yay someone due the same day as me. I think I will go overdue though as I was induced at 42 weeks with Ella xxxxx

I´m eating runny eggs, don´t think could go without them and like Gemma says, I´ve never, ever suffered from salmonella or food poisoning from an egg, I just make sure it´s very fresh XX
