I'm Currently Feeling: | I got really bad food poisoning when i was 35 weeks pregnant with dd. It's bad when you are not pregnant, but i felt terrible, and ended up in hospital. Some reports suggest that pregnant woman are 20 times more at risk of food poisoning, and salmonella.etc. Best not to risk it!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Just to add, prior to the food poisoning i got i had eaten some homemade coleslaw.
Even if you've never had bad reactions to eggs before, you are more succeptable when preg. The guidelines are in place for a good reason, not just to deprive us of food we love!!
Maybe you should treat yourself to something else you fancy, as a treat!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've been having the odd poached egg. I have them squidgy but not totally runny. Its the white thats the bad bit so if you make sure thats cooked and they are stamped you'll be fine.
All our mums and grandma's gave birth to many, many babies and drank tea like the ship was going down and ate eggs all the time. I think you can get too paranoid. Just be sensible.

I'm Currently Feeling: | I´ve had runny fried eggs. There´s no point to them if they have a hard yolk!!! I think as long as the white isn´t runny they´re ok. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | You are allowed coleslaw as lon as it hasn't got raw egg in it. Which homemade ones with homemade mayo in often have. Shop bought ones are generally made with powdered egg so thats ok. Just check on the ingredients!! |
