I went through this when I was pg with my 3rd baby. After an u/s they said his kidney looked to be blocked. The dr. said they would have to keep an eye on it. Then right after he was born, they did a test on him and said he was absolutely perfect. It resolved itself. Don't worry too much.

My son had a 'blockage' in his stomach when I had my 20 week scan. I also got told he had a curved spine. When he was born he was 100% perfect. The blockage was beacause he'd swallowed amniotic fluid and the curve was the position he was in.

Maybe you could ask the doctors in full about it all so you can feel more comfortable about what you want to do.
