Hope all u girlies are doing ok in this hot weather!!
I've had a row with my OH over our baby girls name!!
I really, really, really want to call her Summer! The name just came to me when i found out i was expecting and knew from day 1 i was gonna have a girl! Joshua James my boy calls her Summer too and will tell anyone off who refers to her as anything else!
Anyway James said yesterday that we needed to stop referring to her as Summer as this is not what she'll be called and he doesn't want me to be dissapointed! He said he hates the name and he finds it upsetting that i would even consider still calling her something that he thinks is awful!! To make matters worse his Mum is sticking by him saying we can't call her Summer as she's not gonna be born in the summer (she always sticks her nose in!!)
Anyway i have kinda accepted the fact that i am now not gonna be able to call her Summer but any other name we come up with (that i do like) i just feel its not right for her. (I think cuz i feel she is Summer already!!)
So have any of u had disagreements over names and had to choose anything different or am i just being silly??

We disagree all the time. My OH thinks you can leave a baby as long as 3 months after it born without a name so he's in no hurry MEN!!!!!
I think this is stupid i want to pick one now lol but everytime i pick one i like he somehow makes me hate it within a few days!! lol xxx

I half jokingly said to Keith the other night 'I'm sad because you wont let me call the baby Hebe....' He basically gave me the big 'I dont know why you ask me anything as when you've decided then, thats that.'......well basically YES. I know that there will be a few girls here saying its not just for you to decide but where do you go when you cant agree?????? I really dont know what will happen with us. I;m sticking to my guns and he's in the bad books at the moment for another reason where he know's he's in the wrong, so he's sucking up to me and I am unashamedly WORKING IT.

if you really like Summer could you chose another name and use Summer as her nickname maybe use it as a second name?

My little girls going to be called Izabel but i'm calling her Belle already and her dad's calling her Izzy so she'll be confused from day one! I'm hoping she'll look more like one or the other when we see her! My sister's was Ruby right the way through the pregnancy but her OH didn't like it and now she's Millie but my sis still keeps calling her Ruby! Poor confused children!

I said to him that he really doesn't care about names he hates it when i even bring up the conversation! I've told him that this means alot to me, especially being my little princess i want something that i love and feels special!
Grrrrrrrr!!

BTW for those who dont know - he loves the name, he just thinks there's plenty of time to decide...

salmynka- My OH wants to call her Belle! Every1 refers to me as that as i love disney princess a bit too much 4 my age and he says that it'll be a mini me! but i'm just not sure!! Every1 is saying it def should be baby Belle but i just love summer too much!!
Louise is gonna be her middle name as its a family tradition all the 1st born girls! and i like it!

They dont get it though do they!!! I feel like I need this sorting but Keith's the same - I darent even mention it!!!!!!!! AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH...
