I'm Currently Feeling:  | My OH doesn't take the name picking seriously at all. I made a 2 page list of names 3 1/2 months ago and at that time, he said he would make a list and we would compare. So far, the only name he has come up with is Ruth. Yuck  I don't know what to do  |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i was kinda in the same situation with my daughter isabella.
i wanted to call her mariah, but no...the other half (of the time) and his mother hated it!
i had to choose a name they liked!!
i wish i just went for mariah! i was carrying her and i brang her up on my own, plus im no longer with her father!
but of course, it has to be fair between you and your OH. Just make sure its not his mother putting him off the names you like!
summer is a lovely name btw xx |

How about trying to beat him at his own game? 
Why dont you come up with some awful names you know he will hate and be really convincing that you like them? When he sees you are so insistant on a name like Dorothy etc (apologies to any Dorothy's out there!) he may think Summer is a good compromise?  |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Oh honey,I know you really want Summer and it's a great name but you can't really make him agree on the name that he hates. 
You'll get used to it,Belle is also a great name and you said yourself you like it...
But you know,once you're in the delivery room and he's watching you screaming to bring his child into the world,threr's nothing you can't talk him into.... 
The only battle I'm leading is with the inner me...I realised I have a multiple personality disorder,they can't agree on names either....
Lisa-I like Catherine(not Keith's ex,the name)...don't kill me!
But I honestly picture your little girl as a Hebe... |

| Men eh! My OH has not changed his mind on the baby names he likes since the first day we met - Sophie for a girl and Rhys for a boy. I like both these names but was thinking of going for something a little less traditional, I like Ocean, Roxanne, Niamh for girls and Llewlyn, Dillan and Mason for a boy. No matter what I say he wont consider any of these names and it makes me so mad  |
