It's perfectly normal to be nervous when your scan's due, i was convinced it was a boy too and she's a girl! To get my head round having a girl i went straight out and bought her first dress and now i'm really excited about my baby Belle!

I don't think i breathed at all during the scan and they can take a while before they say anything so don't worry when the scan person's quiet cause they're looking and concentrating on measurements before they tell you anything.

Good luck and go and buy something girly if it's a girl!

Had my scan yesterday, the lady was absolutely lovely! she went through everything wasamazing to see. i do have the stubbornest laziest little GIRL! the sonographer managed to do everything she needed o do except see her move and count the fingers and thumb on one hand! she had it resting under her neck and i would not move it, in the end she did it was funny. she had one hand under her neck one waving about and her legs spread in a rather un-lady-like fashion! was lovely to see her again and can't believe that *touch wood* i dont have to go back to the hospital again now untill i'm in labour!!!!
