I don't think this is your mucus plug. You said that you think you have been losing it since about 13 weeks. Usually when a woman loses her mucus plug, labour will start fairly soon after. I assume you have had a 20 week scan. Surely something would have been spotted then if there was a problem.
Like the other girls have said, the body does have an increase in vaginal discharge in pregnancy.
I am sure you are just fine - but if you are really concerned, you should see GP.

Your vaginal discharge does change during pregnancy aswell. It can be thick sometimes - even different colours, but I wouldn't worry, I don't think it's your mucous plug. Your mucous plug is like snot - and the colour can vary, usually you get blood mixed with mucous before you have your baby, and the mucous can be green, white-ish, a bunch of different colours.

thank you, i do feel better.
yea i had my 2nd scan at 21 weeks and iv got 2more in the next few weeks so like you said im sure they would have spotted something wrong if there was anything 2 spot
this is my 5th baby, and I have yet to notice losing my mucus plug. I am one of those women who always has loads of c/m and it is worse when pg. I wouldn't know it if I saw it. I don't think you really need to worry about it though. If it was a problem, your dr. would have said something. I never even think about it! Maybe I am just too flighty to pay attention.

If you're losing yours, I'm losing mine too, as I've had exactly the same as you've said.
I doubt it is hunnie, more times than anything else the plug is a off colour when it comes away. And like the ladies said, labour starts soon after, usually up to 48 hrs.
