I'm Currently Feeling: | OH wobbling on name choice... So some of you know I am pretty much sold on the name 'Hebe' (pronounced Hee-Bee). It is greek for 'Youth' and was the daughter of Zeus.
I love the name and my hubby had liked it since before we were TTC.
I dont know if people's response of 'What?' or 'Eh?' is making him wobble but he's now said he's not sure he likes it.......
I WANT THAT NAME.
But I know whats next......'I dont know why you ask my opinion on anything. You should just tell me what's going to happen'......errrmm....HELLOOOO - of course!!!!
So where do I go from here......I've read my name books from cover to cover and nothing comes to me. Except Amber but I like that for a middle name.....I LOVE Hebe.......
What am I gonna do........

I'm Currently Feeling: | Make it her name. Print it out in bold and stick it on the fridge with your scan pics, and have a door sign made up. That's what I did with Ethan. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Before I got pregnant Adam was always talking about how he liked these names I was mentioning. After, he acts like he's never even HEARD them. And now, one day he tells me he likes something, the next, he doesn't like it again. Its driving me crazy. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | To be fair, you can't FORCE your OH to name his child something he doesn't want to. And whilst Hebe is a sweet name, if people's responses are "what? eh?" perhaps he's thinking how it will be for your daughter when she tells people her name.
If you hadn't said how it's pronounced, I would have thought it was pronounced Heeb and I bet I'm not the only one.
Sorry I'm not with everyone else on this one, but I hope you and OH sort it out. |
