Bleeding... 15 weeks

Hi guys,

I have been having light bleeding since sunday morning so I went to the EPU on my midwife's advice this morning. They found the HB for me - was so relieved when I heard that, so Flicker is still in one piece. I have to go back for a scan tomorrow morning though to look at the placenta and cervix to see if they can find out the cause.

I really thought I'd left all these problems behind in the first trimester - sometimes I think maybe its not meant to be. I know I'm so lucky to have got pregnant so quickly and that Flicker is still ok, but I can't help feeling down that the bleedings come back.

Did anyone else have this in the second tri?

Im so sorry sweetie, but im sure everything will be fine.
Ive not had any bleeding, but lots of other girls on here have and there babies are fine in there.
Sometimes bleeding can be caused by something little like a small burst blood vessel around the cervix- this is quite common.
Try not to worry, have a day relaxing and before you know it you'll be seeing your LO on the screen again!
Take care xx

I'm sorry, but the main thing is that the LO is ok.
I understand that bleeding stresses you out but that can be just a vessel or something...

Don't bash your head over it...

I bled at 15 weeks with my 1st. It was something to do with my cervix, but my pregnancy continued just fine. I know it's hard but try not to worry.

Thanks guys,

I know I shouldn't fret and there could have been lots worse things that had happened and I've been really lucky. It's good to hear other people have been in the same situation and things have been fine.

Scan is booked for 9.45 tomorrow so hopefully all will be good and I guess I should be happy I get to see her again so soon!
