I really would have liked a boy and I am so happy we found out now. I knew hubby in particular would be disappointed for a short time so I thought if we found out, then he'd be able to get over it and get excited again. I didnt want him to even think about it for a second at the birth. It's worked out how I'd hoped and less than 24 hrs later he's sooo excited about his little girl.

my DH is exactly the same, i find myself hoping for a boy just for his sake... as far as me i really dont care bc its our first.... i know that if it is a girl he will snap into shape fast though. how cute it must be to see our big hunky husbands holding a sweet little baby girl right?!?!!
