Nah it couldn't be because you slept on your tummy. I still sleep on my tummy and I'm huge as a house!
Don't worry, your little one is VERY VERY VERY well protected in there. S/hes bouncing around ALOT of amniotic fluid, and the lining of your uterus is very very strong. It must be stretching pains, but if you get too worried maybe ring your doctor or m/w and get them to check it out? Hugs!

I sleep on my side but often roll slightly on my tummy. One night when I did it it woke me up because I felt this bulge sticking out on the side I was lying on. After a second of trying to register what on earth it was I freaked out thinking, omg I've been lying on my baby's head! What sort of mother am i?? She probably didn't care though, swishing around in her watery cushion so I wouldn't worry, your LO is nice and protected =]

Lying on your belly wouldn't hav done any harm, you'd have just turned over in your sleep if it was causing any problems

As for the pulling pain down below... is it sor of in your groin area? How the pain in your hip too? I hate to say it, but this is how I start with SPD. A really 'heavy' sort of feeling down below, lower back pain, and burning hips. Sorry It may be not, but I thought I should say

I'm lacking a little experience, but it sounds like a combination of slightly overdoing it and also a bit of muscle stretching. I really don't think sleeping on your belly would have done anything at all hun.

How are you feeling today? xx

The achy back might be because you're spine wasn't level due to lying on your tummy now. I wouldn't worry hun. I woke up the other morning on my belly and I don't tend to sleep on it when I'm pregnant.
