CHEST PAINS???

Hi all

hope alls well with everyone and their lovely bumps

i dont usually write on here much but think its a brill site for advice!!!

well my bump is 18+4 weeks old and lately i have been having blood pressure problems my last reading was 170/90 which i have been referred to a consultant for and my first app will be 14th may, but since yesterday iv been really concerned as i am having central chest pains!!! iv neva had heartburn or indegestion so dont know what that feels like as my first thought was that to be honest but people i have spoke to said it feels like burning sensations which it clearly isnt, it hurts more when i breath in and lastnight in bed was very uncomfortable and i couldnt lie on my right side it doesnt get worse when i move its just constantly there!!!

any thoughts girls as to what i should do as im puttin on a brave face but truthfully it is really concerning me

any advice much appreciated

xx

You should phone NHS or the equivalent if you aren't in the UK. I know that with pre-eclampsia, you can get pain under the right hand ribs. You need to speak to someone to be safe

Hey, This is very strange! It was only afew days ago i had the same thing. I kept being told by people it was heartburn/ a pulled muscle! but like you it wasnt affected by movement and i hadnt eaten so it certainly wasnt anything like heartburn, anyway i did go to the dr and i actually have cholecystitis ( inflammed gallbladder) im on antibiotics, have to eat a low fat diet and im currently awaiting an urgent ultrasound.
Ive never suffered with any gallbladder problems in the past.
The only thing i must add is my pain was central to right sided of my chest.
I would advise speaking to your mw or dr if you are concerned.
Like Ann-Marie has said it could be Pre-Eclampsia
Hope you feel better soon, take care xx

I had breathing in pains, but it was between my boobs in my ribs. When I saw GP it was because my chest was inflammed.

So I really do recommend you phone a GP or MW to be 100% safe and sure.
