I'm Currently Feeling: | Maternity Shopping - aaaaagggghhhh! Why oh why do no shops stock maternity wear???!!??
I have just been shopping for some trousers and jeans as I have only one pair of each out of my normal clothes that seem to fit now - and even then, the belt digs in a bit.
Now, I would have thought heaps of shops would have stocked stuff - but no! The only shops that stocked stuff in Aberdeen seemed to be: H&M, Dorothy Perkins and New Look. The H&M selection was tiny and seemed to be comprised completely of summer shorts and the New Look stuff all seemed to be in size 8 or 20!!! Aaaaaghh. Eventually, I managed to get trousers and a pair of jeans from Dorothy Perkins. I might just start looking online.
P.S. Don't you think those bandeau, elastic trousers things make you look much bigger than when you are wearing your normal trousers? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I like the banded stuff, soooo comfy
I do know what you mean about finding maternity clothes though, and I don't like spending tons of money on things that will only be worn a short period of time. Luckily one of my nieces recently gave me some of her maternity shirts--I only had three until than and my sweatshirts are getting to warm to wear! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I hate those jeans where the elasticy bit comes over your bump. I think it makes you look smaller. I've found it hard to find maternity clothes, best place I could find was dorothy perkins. I'm so short so all trousers are miles too long |

I am 5 foot 5 and usually have to take my trousers up - well, get my MIL to do it as I am crap at sewing! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hmmm, the pains of being a shortie. All my pants have had to be taken up!!! Have you tried Mothercare? And Marks & Sparks do a maternity range (their pants come in 3 lengths). Oh and some branches of Topshop do as well. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I know exactly where you're coming from. I posted the exact same thread a couple of months back. It's obviously not fashionable to be preggers... and you're not allowe to be sext as everything is smocky and flowery !!!
Although... I got a gorgeous evening top from the Next clearance shop... black slinky material with a gathered bit on one side with all big black stones in a half flower shape.... lush |

Hubby bought me a bunch of maternity clothes for my bday and I have to get them hemmed up. I hate the fact that I can never wear pants right away. |

And I don't like the maternity jeans I bought, I have some other pants that I wear to work that have a small elastic band (doesn't come up over the bump) that I find much more comfy |
