That's horrible for them to say! They don't know what you'll look like at the end of your pregnancy! How can they? Every woman is different.

The most annoying thing I've heard is my in-laws telling me I've gotten fatter, I promptly told them they wouldn't be seeing me again until the baby is born

I wouldnt expect you to still fit into size 8 clothes at 20 weeks!
Im sure your looking great! If i was size 8 before being pregnant i would be feeling great, instead i think ill be like your friend going from size 12/14-18!
Take care xx

WOW!! That is horrible- I'd have been so tempted to say something back. Nobody has been nasty like that, but I've had numerous friends and family comment on how "Huge you are...are you having twins??" People just don't think!!

I think some people just do NOT think at all before they speak. I had a woman I barely know tell me I'm already waddling - I was barely 8 weeks!!! It devastated me - I'm starting off a little overweight & am self-conscious of it already. My dh assured me I'm not waddling but I'm so self-conscious around her now.

bloody hell,
prob just jealous and leave her to it.

I got a comment of my dads cousin (so my 2nd cousin????) anyho she came into my nans when i was only bout 12weeks and says "hiya fatty" this coming from a woman who's arse is in a different poscode when she sits down makes me laugh... my reply was "i may be putting weight on, but im pregnant whats your excuse???" im not too keen on her anyway. she's never had or wanted kids but yet shes an expert on pregnancy and how to rear a child!!!!!
another person im steering well clear of is OHs mum. I could be feeling on top of the world and she says "are you okay vicki... youre looking a pit pasty and tired" marvelous... just marvelous!!!! that woman sees me with a self contented smile and says all she can to wipe it off my face.
