I'm Currently Feeling: | Are we nuts??? hubby and I are putting the house on the market next week scary but we will need a bigger house in a few years for the little one we only have a one bed cottage which I love and we've only just finished doing it up, but with prices coming down I thought it would be the right time I also think I must be nesting in a big expensive way hubby doesnt seem to mind as long as we get a house with a games room
I do think we are a little nuts especially with a baby on the way what do you think??? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Games room huh? 'Ark at 'er !!!
Good Luck with the house sale. I know that property is moving really slow at the mo. Just please don't get too involved in the whole 'selling' process. Let hubby deal with it. I have to say, that selling our house was the most stressful thing I've ever known in my life !!! And that's not what you need when you're preggers. Oooh think of all the furniture shopping... now that sounds like fun |

I'm Currently Feeling: | yeah def try not to get yourself to worked up.... buying and selling is so much hassle!!
I think they keep changing their minds (like everything else) with the buying and selling fiasco!!! Im sure house prices wont dramatically fall that much!!!
It may be a positive thing moving etc.... keep your mind off the next 20 weeks, it will probably feel like the quickest pregnancy ever lol!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Not quite the same as you, but my sister put their house on the market when she was pregnant. Fortunately, or not, so they didn't sell till my niece was about 2 and it was a straight swap, part ex to a new house so everything was ready when they moved in, although living out of boxes for a while was a pain.
Maybe it's good to put the house on the market now, maybe you won't sell until baby is a few months old which, would make life much easier for you as family or friends can then look after your baby while you move!!!!
Either way, you will cope fine, I am sure, good luck with the sale.
Our situation is that w sold our house but fortunately we could stay in the house until ours was ready. We are building. Think this is more stressful. We sold before I got pregnant so plans were already underway, BUT not got building permission yet, just got permission to build the fence and wall, so exciting, but OH is very worried as he wanted everything ready for when the baby arrived. This won't happen. Babs arrives in Sept and we will be lucky for the house to be ready by this time next year!!!! Oh boy!! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I bought a house when I was expecting my first and my sister moved while pregnant with her first as she was in a 1 bed cottage. I'd say aslong as you dont think it will all be left to you to organise then go for it!

I'm Currently Feeling: | Our house has been on the market since December (a week after we found out I was pregnant).
We've had little interest and my OH reduced the price for second time the other day.
We've only had one viewing so only had to do big tidy up once! lol That was stressful tho as estate agent phoned to say could they come in half an hour! lol I don't live in a pigsty, honest!
Anyway, think I'm stressed cos OH lives in London Mon to Fri and we really wanted to sell up here in Lincoln and be together down there. All my ante-natal care is up here of course and I'm off to have a look around maternity unit at Lincoln hospital soon.
If we do move though, I'll have to move midwife and obstetric care down there. My mw has said to start organising now but I don't know who to contact yet and need to pull my finger out. I've got just under 14 weeks to go till my due date and I'm really anxious now. The main of me wants us to sell the house, alter healthcare and get moved in next 3 months. The other part thinks I'd be daft and should stay here till LO is born. Only thing being that after paternity leave, I'll be on my own as OH will be back down there! Aaargh! lol
And all this before I've even started to worry about packing and moving logistically! lol Oh, and I've got Rheumatoid Arthritis just to make things a little more difficult!
But, would say, if a house move is on the cards...go for it! Just hope you have mroe joy selling than us so far! x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I don't think you're nuts at all.
A one bedroom cottage sounds ideal for a couple but when you're pregnant you start to think about all those things that the baby needs, like its own room,space...etc.
But the whole thing can be long and stressful,so you rest while your hubby does all do work...
Good luck with everything and at least you know you won't be bored all day long... |
