Thanks hun - its right on my seat rather than my back/cheek so I better be careful not to pop a hot water bottle.....ouch!!

Sorry! I went for alittle tour around the site!!
Sciatica is basically a trapped nerve, and so yes it can come and go. Sometimes things make it worse like when you've put extra weight on, or when your cold. There are lots of factors that influence it. I have suffered with it in the past and its horrible! The problem is we can only take paracetamol which wont do an awful lot for nerve problems. If it continues make an appointment with your mw.
It may not be this, its just an idea.
Try putting a hot water bottle on the affected area or having a hot bath, that may ease it.
Hope you feel better soon xx

Maybe you could try one of those wheat bags you warm up in the microwave. They are quite pliable, so you can move them into any shape and the won't burst!

Yeah, don't use the same one that your dog uses. That would be nasty!

LOL

Hope your pain goes away soon!

Mi sciatic nerve gave me loads of trouble last pregnancy. It would come and go. It would come as a surprise and usually when I was standing and I would almost fall. I would then have to sit or lie down for about 20 min and it would go away. It really was awful and I saw a chiropractor and nerve specialist for it. But neither could do anything but charge me $$$. I feel very badly for you if that's what it is!
