My OH and I refused to do the test and all seems to be fine. We felt no matter what we will have this baby. Besides, they say there is a small risk to the baby and that is a big enough risk for me. I know someone who miscarried a few days after having an amniocentisis and that completely convinced us not to get it done.

I'm Currently Feeling:

I am due to have my scan and tests done tomorrow and I am still debating whether or not to get the tests done. My DH reckons I should just to help prepare ourselves incase there is a chance of something being wrong, I think it will just make me worry for the rest of the pregnancy. There is no way I am going to have the amnio done as there is a 40% chance of being wrong and a 1% chance of m/c, I had a treatened m/c 3 weeks ago and no way will I put myself thorough that again.

I have just turned 36 and reckon my age alone will cause the result to show a risk. Either way we will love this baby regardless of the result.

I am going to speak to the midwife again tomorrow before the blood tests are done.
