Cramps

I've been in a bit of pain since yesterday afternoon. (it's now morning here )

Similar to menstrual cramps. At the bottom of my abdomen in the middle.
They're not agonizing but they're quite uncomfortable.
I thought it was maybe stomach related but it doesn't seem that way. My gynae is in surgery all day today so I'll only get hold of him tonight. I'm going to phone if the pain doesn't go away but has anyone got a clue as to what this might be?

It goes if I walk around. It isn't regular either. Kinda comes and goes at different intervals.

Sorry. Just want to add. It shoots around to my lower back at times too.

I have been getting backache since the beginning though.

I've heard of other people getting cramps, although I haven't got any myself like you describe. I've had twinges and gassy discomfort which can get quite painful but not like period pains.

It might be nothing - it seems we get lots of funny things going on when pregnant But if it persists or if you loose any blood I would get it checked out. Or if it's worrying you get it checked anyway.

Hope you are ok

This sounds exactly like what im suffering from at mo aswell.
Its horrible and un-comfy i no what you mean...
I have been told its just the growth of the uterus/baby ect.
Stretching and growing pains.
I was worried something was wrong but i can understand its just the growth of everything in there

Thanks.

I've phoned my gynae and managed to get an appointment in a couple of hours.
His receptionist said she'll tell him what's happening when he gets in after surgery. So just 4 hrs then I can find out what the heck is going on.
Just don't want it to end up being bad news.
