bump notices

had a very cute day at school.

My form which are now 14 (had them since yeay 7 - 11 years) bottled up the courage to ask if i was pregnant. i told them i was and they were all so excited, said they were looking forward to the new member of the form.

then after a couple of mins and couple of questions they all got a little worried to them when i am gone, and if i was coming back. this made me feel great, as i am quite harsh with them, keep them in line, but obviously am respected, am so pleased i wont get any more funny looks at work and it is all in the open.

bump is well and truly showing if they have noticed, soon to be bigger n doubt.

Just tought id share nice message, so many people are having down times at the mo.

It's great they noticed and even asked you...You must be close with them.
I know I would never ask any of my teachers if they're pregnant!I'd be too scared.
And they don't ask me(only one professor) even though they know because it's a small private college. But other people ask me and I love it!

"To a very special baby" it actually made me cry!

That's really cute!

I am a teacher as well - in a Secondary school. I am not showing that much yet, but am waiting for questions when I do get a bigger bump. When kids get into Secondary school, they are not usually embarrassed or shy about asking. I remember another teacher that I worked with got asked if she was pregnant by one of her class. She actually just had a bit of a tummy. When they asked her, she just said, 'no, i'm just fat.' That stopped anymore questions!

A 6th form girl said to me at lunchtime 'Miss....may I ask you a personal question....are you having a baby?' I said 'Yes, I'm not just getting fatter!' She congratulated me as did her friend and it was really lovely.

We had this very fat teacher in my high school, she actually came through the door sideways(we called her FBI) because her butt couldn't fit and she apparently got pregnant,we didn't even notice it,they just told us one day that she gave birth! We just thought she's gaining more weight...
