Constant pressure, and the stress of your job will impact on you and bubs - as its pressure stress that will cause you to run around and sort bits out - not eating and resting properly, so me thinks that just be aware and hide from time to time, take a break. the kids are important, but so to is yours | Thay have said they are going to look into it.....I've asked about a mobile AC unit. Funny that she has one in her office.....
You're so right about the pressure - I can handle pressure but it's the not taking 5 mins to rest and not having time to eat. I dont wanna be a wuss - I am sooooo not a wuss - I have a rep as being a bitch and I'd like to keep it!!!
I think one of the reasons staff in schools tend to have the pi$$ taken is because the management know we generally all have one thing in common - we really care about the kids - and I'm sure that they use that sometimes. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | The baby would be affected by blood pressure, or other health risks that may come from someone being extremely stressed.
Everyone, no matter what you do, becomes stressed, every day. Whether you notice or not. If you sit at home and not work the entire pregnancy you can become stressed from being lonely. You work, you endure the stresses of work.
I think if you can get the mini air thing, that would be a good idea. Drink lots of cold water and ice chips too... The danger from being too hot is becoming dehydrated, so make sure you keep yourself well hydrated.
I work in a hospital and it is blazing hot in the summer. I have to stick it out close to my due date though. Otherwise I wont have any mat leave money, which I need desperately. My OH makes a decent buck but I know we could not afford to live on just him. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My dad died 3 weeks before the birth of my son and he was fine. I felt him kick fine etc. It was very stressful. But like said it's your blood pressure that can suffer because of stress. |
