I'm Currently Feeling: | Same here, tons of exams and the overload just causes a great deal of stress.
I don't know, they say that baby feels what the mom feels...I'm a psychology major and based on what we study I doubt it can seriously harm the baby but your whole body suffers from stress,psycho-somatic consequences of stress but nobody can truly say wether it effects the fetus itself.
We did work on a true story of a mother who has been informed of her husbands death while she was pregnant with her son,he was born a physically healthy boy but mentally he is slower and he is educated by the special programme. But nobody can say if this is the consequence of his mothers stressful situation... |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Ugh, I am in the last 2 weeks of the semester for my master's degree program, and it is very stressful on top of working full time +! Can't wait till the semester is done, I think I'll go back and finish after the LO is here. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I hope not, within my first three months I was in court as a witness to a fatal accident, and my OH had a car crash and wrote off the car and more recently he had to go into hospital for an operation. So I hope stress don't affect us too badly.. xXx |

If the UK they are legally obliged to. If you think you need some changes making to the way you work then push for one. I dont want to worry you but anyone who's been on here a while will know tragic things do happen to women when they think they are past the 'dangerous point' and some of them could be avoided if their employers had been more responsible.

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hmm, not really sure that stress will cause harm. But, add stress with not eating properly, sleeping properly or getting checked out regularly, then it could be an issue.
I think the main issue is to take care of yourself while under stress.
Then again, here's a story. I posted a number of weeks ago that my best friend was pregnant. Shortly after she found out, she also had bad news about her father. He had a massive stroke and has been in the hospital for a few months and going downhill. My friend lost her baby. Now, was it due to stress or was it because the baby wasn't viable?
No one will know for certain.
On the other hand, I went through major stress with my pregnancy of my second child. OH and I separated, we went through court case for custody of my daughter, I was waiting on social assistance, etc. A very stressful time and the most of it was 1 month prior to baby being born. Yet, baby boy was healthy as can be when he was born. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | More importantly what are they doing about your room and the temp, thats the biggest risk - air con maybe, thats what i am pushing for. my room is sitting at 29 degrees even today when its pissing down.
Constant pressure, and the stress of your job will impact on you and bubs - as its pressure stress that will cause you to run around and sort bits out - not eating and resting properly, so me thinks that just be aware and hide from time to time, take a break. the kids are important, but so to is yours |

I'm Currently Feeling: | As long as you are looking after yourself, getting sleep, eating properly, finding an outlet for your stress. Then NO it will not harm your baby. |
