Are you moving to Warfarin for the 6 weeks after birth? My consultant said a lot of ladies do as they're sick of jabbing! but warfarin scares me, they said you have to stay in and get the levels right, which i'm not keen on, and also that it stays in your system longer so if there was a bleeding problem it would be harder to sort out.

Anyhow, i just wanted to say hi!!

yay finally i am not alone!! hehe!!As u said somedays i have that 2nd thought of jabbing it in! My tummy is black and blue i'm now not proud of showing it off! But just remembering the pain from the DVT is enough 2 jab it in!
I think i'll be staying on the injections 4 the 6weeks after as i seem to remember them not allowing me to change but i suppose i can only wait and see!! How bigger dose are u taking?? xx

On the box it says 40 & 0.4, ha ha im silly... how about you?

I stopped jabbing my belly, I do the top of my leg now, i started doing my arms when i first took it, but i bruised them. Legs are usually fine, not too many bruises.

I got a new sharps box today! ha how sad!!

I've got awful veins and caused the midwife doing my Clexane bloods a real hassle earlier! Ended up going to the 'blood section' instead! (fuzzy brain; phlebotomy? can't spell it!)

Have you had any side effects etc?

No its not so bad, i usually do it on the inner thigh, where is flabbier!!

Sometimes i pinch together with my 'spare' hand, other times it doesn't resist and slides in!!

I'm crap at it!! Husband always wants to do it, but i'd rather inflictit upon myself!! x
