Itchy legs

Hi
Has anyone else been really itchy? I have the most itchy shins ever, no where else, just my shins. I can scratch and scratch until its sore.

I have been shaving more often as my hair is growing alot quicker, do you think this is the cause or thing there maybe another problem?

Any ideas?

Thanks girls xxxxx

Hey hun, mine was the backs of my legs and inside my thigh. It went when I got to around 20wks. My doctor said it's change in hormones. I asked because I was starting to mark myself with scratching so hard.

Hi,

I had that last week, and thought it might be due to dry skin/shaving etc. Have been moisturising religiously twice a day and fingers crossed it seems to have settled down now. Hope that helps and hope you feel better soon

Oooooh, me too, but I put it down to slight eczema even though there's nothing really there!!! Fronts have been really itchy, not all the time, but sometimes they need a right good scrat!!

Not sure if there would be a problem although your skin may be more sensitive and if your shaving more, this may affect it. Oh I don't know. I keep saying I will have a shaving night and keep on top of it as certain areas won't be accessible once bump gets so big!!!! Waxing is out!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes yes yes me too!! I think it is quite common as I was talking to my cousin about it the other day and she said she had it in her pregnancy too. I use aqeuous cream as that really soothes it and stops itching is really cheap to buy too.

You should still tell your mid wife though so they can test for oc just in case i am going to mention mine to my mw thursday it will be nothing but best be sure!

Me too - I didn't realise how common it is!! The front of my shins are really itchy, especially after a shower. I've been using palmers cocoa butter which helps soothe them.

They feel really bad now, just 'cos I'm thinking about it

xx

...and me! Have had really itchy legs, especially shins. Also have come out in hives, just on my legs and nowhere else. Feel better knowing other girls have experienced the same thing!
