I'm Currently Feeling: | It's not that I was upset when I found out I was having a girl, it was that I was so sure I was having a boy I actually felt bad. It took me ages to stop calling her "him" and "he" but now I wouldn't have her any other way. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I don't see how having one or the other sex can come as a shock Its pink or blue - theres only two possibilities 50/50 chance why set yourself up for one sex. I thought at first 'a little boy would be nice' my scan showed I was having a little girl welll awwwwwwww I just seen MY baby on screen moving wiggling confirmed all was ok so WHO CARES thats my bump my baby it had to be one or other unless I had sex with an alien.
I hope you feel better about it soon - I had a successful outcome from much heartache and believe me your a lucky lady becoming a Mum its a blessing & special place to be if it be or
Don't mean to sound horrid at all but now you know its time to shake off how you were feeling and that your having a a son that you will love so much so the sooner you do shake off the feeling you have the better for you emotionally & mentally & your having a little boy that will love you, depend on you & look up to you to be there for him unconditionally! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | As all of the girls have said already, in time you will love your child, as long as he or she is healthy and happy thats all that matters. You are very lucky to have conceived and grown a 20 week old little one. It is only your first, so you have ample opportunity to get yourself a daughter.
I guess I'm not in your situation, much as I would love to be, so I don't fully understand. But I do hope you have a healthy and happy pregnancy.
All the best with your pregnancy |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Ani, I was exactly the same....i always only ever looked at girls stuff before i found out and i'd made up my mind that i was definitely having a girl ....DH was rooting for a boy...when we found out it was a boy, my initial reaction was dissappointment...but you'll get used to it and right now i just love my boy to bits. |

I agree with Poppy - don't be too hard on yourself, you just need a bit of time to adjust. I'm sure very soon you will be on again.
Congratulations on your healthy blue bump |

I'm Currently Feeling: | uh oh now im scared that im going to feel like this too....
My OH already has two girls from previous relationship (he had a son but he died) and my OH really really really wants a boy and so do i. Im scared im going to feel like this if i get told im having a girl...i think i will cry!! I know that i should be grateful that im carrying a child but i cant help wanting what i want and im scared to even find out what it is. i know once i have the baby i will love it no matter what it is but im worried that if i find out its a girl it will ruin the rest of the pregnancy for me...
Hope it all works out for you..... xxxx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Oh,I know you're hormonal and the last thing I want is to make you feel even more guilty but you are a very lucky woman...You are going to be a mom,you have your OH and your family and you are half way there to meeting your little BOY.
Yes,your son.I also secretly wished for a girl and it did turn out to be one but your child is your child,he's gonna be your little boy, your baby.
So you wanted a little girl but it turned out be a little boy,we can't control these things, sometimes life has different plans and we can't get depressed when it doesn't work out the way we wanted...
Maybe you'll have a girl one day, maybe not but you will have this little boy forever, and you'll love him no matter what.
People don't plan for their kids to be gay or transsexual but it happens and you can't mope around.
Congrats on your blue bump! |
