going home outfit

so I was just going through allmy baby stuff and marking down what I have, and I got to my going home outfit- its from matalan and I got the matching blanket.

It's newborn but it looks quite big. Should I take an early baby going home outfit too just incase that ones too big?

for dd i took a newborn and a 0-3 mo outfit with me and we had to use the 0-3 cuz she didn't fit the other one. and with ds i took just 0-3 and it was swiming on him. i can't imagine needing anything smaller than newborn as newborn is up to 7 or 8 lbs.

Hi hun. I've just popped over from 3rd tri hope you don't mind

.. I've brought mostly newborn vest's and sleepsuits etc for my hospital bag as that seems to be quite an average size.. I've also packed one early baby outfit just incase LO is small.. MW has already told me I won't be having an elephant lol. And then if when I'm in hospital I need anymore early /small baby outfits then OH can go and get some. It's just incase really. I'm not a very big person myself and I was quite small when I was born but I was long so it could be a case of needing the newborn for the length if that makes sense??? I would pack just one for just in case!!

I think matalans sizes look quite generous! The hat compared to the newborn ones I saw in next looks massive! Lol

I have a couple of knitted cardigans that are small, so I think I will make sure I have a nice early baby all in one.

I have a few early baby vests but mostly newborn, the tesco sizes look about right to me

I can't wait for my son's granny to drop him off, his aunty has kept all her baby girls stuff for me just incase I was having a girl! hhhe

when my nephew was born, he was about 8lb (i think) and all the new born clothes that he had was far too big, but things like that i'm not worrying too much about, as if things are massive, my mum will be visiting and can bring an odd few tiny baby clothes if needed

ive only bought some vests n babygrows n that so far but ive bought some in mewborn and some in tiny baby coz some of the newborn stuff is massive! lol like someone else said though im trying not to worry too much coz when bubs arrives if we have a problem with sizes we'll have 2 grannies fighting over who gets to buy what lol x

i will be bringing baby home in a nice babygrow.. ill probs take two sizes. Mainly newborn but one or two tiny baby things just in case. Caitlyn was 7lb 2oz so expecting this one to be about the same x
