I FEEL BAD.

Well,

I have felt really down this weekend, probably due to hormones i know.

But friday had a really bad day cos me and dh was having argument over something stupid.

But anyway i went and had a cigarettte, i cant believe i did it, i was just so stressed out, hav'nt touched any sinced BFP and now feel so upset that i would do that

I am still finding it really hard and promised myself not to touch the god dawn things again.

I feel really GUILTY.

I wouldn't worry hun. My mum smoked all through her pregnancies with us and we're fine. I really don't think one would of done any harm.

I'm not a smoker,I can't really understand the need but I'm sure you're doing your best as you haven't smoked in so long(thats impressive).
It's not a serious harm to the baby but don't make it into a habit...

Don't beat yourself up over it. It's an addiction, and it is very hard to quit.

I admit to having had the odd one or two here and there still, usually after work when it's been a crappy day amongst the other usual rubbish going on. Just one wouldn't have done any harm, it's not bad to give in, at least you don't smoke as much as you might have done before you were pregnant

Don't feel bad! I smoked until I was 3 months pregnant and finally quit then. One cigarette wouldn't be enough to harm your baby, only if you did it continuously, so please don't feel bad.

Hey honey- everyone on here is right. One ciggie is not going to hurt. Look at it this way- considering how guilty you are feeling, if that one ciggie is what you needed to definitely not smoke for the rest of the pregnancy, it's probably a good trade-off.

At least now if you and partner have another tiff, you can prepare for another way to relax yourself.
