Does this look normal

Last night I was all excied about being on Team Blue and showing everyone my scan picture and almost everyone said.... shouldn't you be able to see his face by now.

Now that I have scrutnised it I am really scared he has something wrong with his face - they would have told me if he didn't have a nose or something wouldn't they??

Not sure if you can see this picture actually - if you can't I will try and attach it or something xx

Don't worry, the pics they take at this scan are different I think, our girl's face actually looked less developed in our pics than she did at 13 wks! They are more zoomed in etc. The nose and mouth is one bot they definitely have to check, ours took ages. So she (being sexist!) will have checked I'm sure, and will have said if there was a prob. We only have one pic that you can see a profile on, all the others are just body parts really!

I know I'm being a proper crank because I just looked and he looks like he has no arms either and I definitely saw them!!

Does this worrying that something will go wrong every bloody stop!!!

cw1975 they would have checked hun... I would try not to worry, I had 2 different scan pictures taken and they were completely different! on one baby looks like he/she has a pointed head with no nose..lol but on the 2nd one its perfect... Your baby will be fine xxx

Our LO looked a bit like an alien when we went in (I really shouldn't have said that out loud in the scan room), the classic ones with the huge eye sockets!

I don't think the worry ever stops. I worried I wouldn't make it to 12 wks, then worried all through 13 wk scan, then thought 'if I can just make it to 20 wks', and now I'm here it is all about V-Day...then I'll find something else!

I have a really strange picture of the baby facing towards us and I think it looks really freaky and distorted haha. I know she'll be beautiful but scan pics can be really deceiving sometimes!

some people do say some odd things, it does wind me up - they can be so insensitive!

don't worry, if there'd been anything wrong you would have been told. looks like a perfectly normal, adorable baby to me!

same here! My bubs was forward-facing when she had her 20 week scan. I was like "we can't show anyone these bloomin pics".
