Is this normal?

Morning!

I hope you are all well this morning.

I am having a "paranoid" day and wondered if you any of you lovely ladies could possibly put my mind at rest.

For some reason today I don't feel pregnant does this sound stupid? I mean at night my belly looks bigger than during the day but this morning I think my belly doesn't look as big I guess this could just be because I am getting used to it??

I have my 16 week mw scan thursday so hope everything is ok as I understand they listen to the heartbeat then is that right?

I had a flutter last weekend but nothing since particularly and my tummy was really sore in the night.

Am i being pathetic and worrying for the sake of worrying?

ure not pathetic, we all go thru these days esp at your stage where u dont feel constant movement yet, nor are u so big and ure like am i really pregnant? i am sure they will listen to the heartbeat at the 16 wk scan. i would only worry if something was really unusual like pain or bleeding G-D forbid.

so bottom line ure just as cuckoo at the rest of us!

Thanks hun your right I think I must be going mad! Haven't really worried too much recently as mum has been really poorly so been focused on her and getting her better but now things are more settled I guess I want to worry about other things! Also hormones raised their ugly head this morning as didn't have anything to wear as maternity trousers I had brought the hem has come undone useless! then I ripped maternity tights the only pair I had left! I guess today should just try and chill out and stop worrying about everything eh?!!

Thanks for your message thought much appreciated xx

I still get days when I feel less pregnant than others - even now my belly is loud and proud. I've also had loads of weird tummy symptoms but baby still seems to be ticking along fine.

I agree that we all feel a bit paranoid sometimes - it's only natural I suppose when something so important is happening.

They listened to baby's heartbeat at my 15 week appointment and it was lovely - I was on
I hope hearing your baby's heart is just as reassuring and lovely for you

I feel exactly the same now!
I literally have NO symptoms...don't get me wrong,I'm loving it after the terrible ordeal in the 1st trimester, but I somehow catch myself looking at the scan pics wondering ''does this really look like a baby?Could it be something else and the doctor mixed it up?''...And wondering ''is this really a baby bump?Maybe I just ate something funny.''

I want her to move!To let me know she's here!
