Second 20 Week Scan Again After Bad Experience

Wasn't that much better to be honest I was sat waiting to be seen for ages my appointment was 10:50 I got seen sometime around 1.30 maybe later the lady I saw was very professional and had a small voice I could hardly hear her but she didn't seem happy I was a rescan and she asked why Id come back I thought it would be in my notes I guess they leave rescans to the bottom of the pile thats why I was the last person in the waiting area (minus the people who had just arrived)

Baby was in a better position to be scanned he was on his tummy this time although once again not a good photo position and Ive not gotten any better pics unfortunately just one one on his tummy and a funny arm and leg one everything is okay tho

I saw a consultant after my scan and she was worried about my weight (Christmas before last i went from a size 10/12 to a 6/4 due to stress I'm more a 6 now tho) so Ive been referred to a dietitian and Ive got to return at 32 weeks for a checkup

All in all not too bad I think the staff there need to work on there manners a bit and not talk about there patients infront of everyone in the waiting area - consultant was discussing my notes with a Sonographer and I knew it was me she was talking about when she mentioned the midwife and weight loss and referred that as issues!!!!!

Anyway think from the way Ive been referring to baby you've guessed its a boy I'm not surprised I knew a long time ago especially because I wasn't sick, my mums in love already she waited a long time for my brother after me and my sister were born shes already spent nearly 50 pounds on blue clothes today

Ive no idea for names the only ones I like alot are girls I might post the pictures later but Im not sure there not very good at all

Team.....

Sorry to hear this one was just as bad. Is it possible to get a private scan done?

congrats on your little boy, shame that this scan didnt go much better and it was very unprofessional for them to be discussing you in the waiting room, people are just insensative! xx

Get a private one if you want good pictures The anomaly scan is really for measurements and checking for abnormalalities. I know it's not nice when you feel the staff are rude etc, but- IMO anyway!- it's a medical scan.
