oh hun, Happy birthday to you for tomorrow, my mums uncle died a few weeks back i wasnt close to him, but because im such an emotional wreck at the mo myself i stayed away from the funneral as i knew i wouldnt of been able to cope, maybe one of your family members could give you a lift to the service. hope you get it sorted

I would definitely still go as your OH will need you. Perhaps you can drive there on your own (the unemotional bit!) and he drives back with you? People tend to want to go with the family etc on the way there but are not so fussed on their way back, if you see what I mean. Agree it is a little bizarre that the other GFs get priority. Did they know the deceased better?

first of all thank you all for your messages

i ended up going with my oh sisters oh if that makes sence !! was a compleat werck i was worse than my oh ! in responce to wannabemamma : they dont know him better one had been in the family 6 years ive been in the family 4 years and the others preety new .... and i dont drive so i couldnt drive my self lol !
