Aarrrgghh !!! .....Sorry ...another pushchair/travel system rant !!!

I just cant decide !!!!

do we splash out and spend £800 on a full all singing all dancing travel system ....something like the Quinny/icandy etc

or do we just buy something like a Graco or equivalent for around £300 !!??

How the hell do you decide ??

WE havent got money to burn but could afford either

What's the concencuss???

Cheap and chearful

or are the others worth the money??

Opinions please!!

For me, the weight is the deciding factor because I live on the 2nd floor with no elevators. iCandy Cherry is the lightest one of all prams I have looked online.

It is a real minefield, isn't it?

Good luck!

i was in john lewis today looking at the icandy's, i still cant really decide. have ruled out the apple as its so big and heavy, but the cherry and the peach i really like, the cherry i think is great and isnt too pricey compared to the others, the peach is a good couple of hundred quid more and i'm still not really sure it has that many differences to the cherry. aaaaaaaah i really dont know!!! its so confusing!

ive got the icandy cherry and think its great. its very lightweight but sturdy at the same time. it came to about £620ish in total and thats with everything including the maxi cosi carseat and adapters so i thought it was quite a good deal. i dont know how much it is now though because i know the price recently went up.

The old cherry does seem to be a popular choice.....and is probably one of the front runners at the mo

But then we have a dilema ....my OH is in car sales and gets points ( like club points). He can get us one of the Graco travel systems ( its 'from birth' pushchair and car seat)......and it wont cost us a bean !!!!

What do you reckon???

Set a target budget, its not a competition, so long as you and the baby are comfortable safe thats the main thing. I personally am going for something thats mid priced, light and compact, as I only have a 1 bed house and I too am on a tight budget and know theres hundreds of other things to get so I wont got over a £300 limit.

I am doing some extensive research into this so I get whats right for me, everyone has their own opinion on whats best for them. Get what suits your circumstances and dont be bullied by the shops into the latest brand names or trends. At the end of the day its a pram/pushchair and before you know it your baby will have outgrown it and walking.
