I am doing some extensive research into this so I get whats right for me, everyone has their own opinion on whats best for them. Get what suits your circumstances and dont be bullied by the shops into the latest brand names or trends. At the end of the day its a pram/pushchair and before you know it your baby will have outgrown it and walking.
And thats why i'm thinking of the cheaper options .....like i said we can get a Graco travel system for nothing thru my OH work points.

My question was.....is more expensive ACTUALLY better than reasonably priced??

My friend who bought the Quinny system ...does swear by it but 1 year down the line the baby is in a lightweight pushchair !!

I have a similar budget and my living circumstances will be similar too.... have you chosen your pram yet? xx
I still have a few months to go and not buying anything until my 3rd trimester, but Im on my 3rd or 4th brand now.
brands Ive liked so far are petite star, Graco, and latest is Hauck.
I dislike all mothercare own brands, and not being taken in my the Quinny hype, I would love a 3 wheeler travel system, a light weight easily folded one which has interchangeable parts but am not prepared to splash out £500 +
The graco symbio looks superb, but this week I found I can get a whole system for a almost a third less, its the Hauck Malibu and unfortunately only available online as its not out until April, This has everything I need.
