Me too! I had a look at my local baby shop yesterday and was so impressed with it. It is sooo light which is exactly what I need because I live on the second floor with no elevators and I need to be able to do everything on my own since my DH leaves home early before the school run. He gets home long after my DD comes home! We still have Graco travel system for my DD and it still looks very good but it is way too heavy for me.

I had a hard time deciding on prams until I saw iCandy Cherry! I am so excited! I saw the Peach one - really lovely but heavier than Cherry.

What colour did you choose? I love the purple one but I will wait till I know the gender of the baby!

Anyone considering or have any experience with the Quinny Buzz 3? That's what I've been thinking about, but am looking for one with a carrycot AND car seats.

Any other 3 in 1 suggestions greatfully received too lol.
My friend has a Buzz 3 and she loved it until her little girl was about a year old. At which point they traded it in for a McClaren Stroller. They bought it from Ebay so it didn't have the XL seat that they come with now. It is quite heavy but the folding mechanism is really good. The wheel base at the back is quite wide but it still fits through most shop doors.
My SIL has one and she said exactly the same thing. The swapped to a little pushchair at 9 months. They only paid £170 for the quinny on ebay though and it was practically brand new.
We've got a mamas and Papas ultima 8 in 1. It has a separate carrycot, seat unit and car seat that all fit onto the chassis or a stand for in the house. Including all the accessories it came with it would've been over £900 new but we got it for £150 and its in fantastic condition we're just going to buy a new car seat

I too have been looking and dont want to spend loads, Obaby do a nice selection and are cheap, Babystyle look good too. I do like the ICandy but a bit pricey, this is my last child so its not like it would get anymore use.

I have the Icandy apple. Think the seat is bigger so it will last longer.

I know it's a bit heavier than the others but it isn't really an issue for us. The carry cot is lovely and high and everything can be changed depending on which way you want your LO to face. I LOVE it! Can't wait to push it around....

I think the Quinny would last until 3 years old if you buy the new version as it comes with two seat units, the standard size and then the XL.

Thanks luv! I went for a google and found this. They do a really good payment thing as well, where you can secure it with 20% deposit and then just make payments as and when up until your baby is due and then they'll arrange delivery once you've paid in full..... might be worth a shout for some?

My OH is off on Sunday, so I'm dragging him to the pram centre to have a look.

We are ordering a Bugaboo Cameleon all in black. They are in the region of £800, but you can use them from birth > 4 years, brilliant to push, changeable covers, adjustable handles, carrycot - just brilliant x

Shining Star - Apple is top of our list at the moment. Which flavour pack did you go for? We aren't finding out the sex of our baby so I think we will be going for black or red.

MissMouseMum - hurrah! Let me know how you get on - they have got so many brands under one roof. It's such a struggle to find anywhere like that in London. I've found a place in Croydon called Baby Nest that does a lot of the brands I like but I'm not sure DH will agree to drive over there.

I've been to Toy Library this morning so I have been scoping out the pushchairs and asking the Mum's about them so that I could let you all know their thoughts. Most people have Mclaren buggies if their child is over 18 months and everyone loves them. There are a couple of Mamas and Papas Pliko Pramettes, one woman said it was the second time she was using it and was really happy with it. There was one Bugaboo - my step-sister had one and I like them a lot in pushchair mode but the carrycot is too low and not solid enough for me, the lady said she switched from the carrycot to the pushchair after two months. There were a few Graco's the consensus being they were good quality for the price, with big baskets the only downside they mentioned was the weight on one of the models. There was a Quinny buzz 3 - the lady said that she wished it had a bigger shopping basket and sometimes she struggled to get through narrower doors. The big plus for her was the size of the XL chair and how easy it was to fold. That's all I can remember now. Different people come each week so I'll keep looking!
X
