please share your experience!! sorry if tmi!!

Hi girls, for 2 weeks now I have been getting leaking, when I say leaking I mean a wet panty liner. From when I get up to when I go to bed I feel trickles. I went to the dr who did an internal and said I will do some swabs to see if it is an infection. My swabs are fine all clear. My midwife has said it is difinately not urine. Although mr dr said he thinks its normal I can't stop worrying about it.... its driving me mad. Is everyone else getting discharge that keeps them wet and is like water?x

yep i am, but not as much as your describing. I dont need to wear liners. I think im wetting myself because bubs is so low putting pressure on my bladder. This is my second baby so i guess my muscles just arent as strong as they use to be

If you dont have an infection then you shouldnt be worring.
I also had this my first pregnancy but not till 32+ weeks. Wasnt my waters as my bag had to broken in labour

Have they scanned you or swabbed you to check it isn't amniotic fluid? If you are really leaking as much as you say, they need to check that out, and because it is rare, they sometimes don't.

One of my waters (twins) broke at 14+5 and although they did scan me right away as it was the middle of the night and I had to go into the delivery suite, I could tell the midwives and doctors absolutely didn't believe my water had broken, despite it being my fourth pregnancy, until they scanned me and found no fluid left.

It is very rare, like I said, but it does happn and it is very important if it has that you get antibiotics ASAP, so make sure they check it isn't amniotic fluid if they haven't already checked.

No my dr did swabs to check for infection not to check for amniotic fluid. He just makes me feel silly for still worrying about it but I don't understand why he won't listen to me as its surely not normal to be constantly wet!! I haven't had a scan or anything I keep saying is there not a test you can do and he says let's try this first. I am that bothered by it I have booked my own private scan for Saturday. x

Hi there, My discharge is quite watery, and there is loads of it! I am wearing liners every day as some days its quite a lot, yet others it seems to be reduced!
I have had mine checked and it isnt amniotic fluid, the MW said to me that it is normal discharge, hopefully yours is the same as mine hun.
I think a lot of people get a lot more discharge when they arev Pregnant, I didnt really have it like this when Preg with my son, so thats what was worrying me. But all is fine!

big hugs and Hope the scan goes ok x
