How far along where you when you found out the gender?

I have an appt this friday. I'll be 15w2d ... do you think thats too early? This is my first baby, and we're really excited to find out. I want to start getting things. Im impatient... can't you tell? lol

i was 16 + 4. i didnt think they would tell you before 16wks. we were really impatient to find out what we were having too.

For my daughter I had lots of u/s...and they could never see until I was 34 weeks. With my son, I didn't want to know, but they always tried to tell me what he was...from about 19 weeks! I guess it depends on many things...

I had a private scan at 15 weeks and they told me boy and he is. I think the normal scans would not take the time at that age to find out. It took the private scan 20 mins just in that area. Also if they say girl it can change to boy but not so often the other way around.

i was 16+3 when i found out, we had a private scan.

i found out at 17 weeks that i was having a boy. but the woman said she couldn't be sure if it was swollen labia or a little penis because it was pretty early.
i have a scan at the end of the month, i'll be about 26 weeks then, and she said she can be more certain then
