Please help - bump to the stomach


Hi

I was playing with my nephew this morning and I received quite a hard bump to the stomach. It hurt quite bad then and the pain keeps coming and going. I havent bled but i dont know what to do. I'm so worried and my scan is another 10 days away.

Please ladies any advice would help.

Hi TJ,

If I were you, I'd call your midwife, if they think you need to be seen then they will see you, please don't sit worrying about it, call your midwife, that is what they are there for.

Give your mw a call to put your mind at rest. My SIL was having a hard time with her 4 year old in town when she was pregnant, she picked him up and he kicked her really hard in the stomach. She was crying coz she said it hurt so much. But the mw said it would have only been her that was hurt, as the baby is under all that muscle and then the uterus, and then it's cushioned in the fluid. She was fine
