Thanks for all the advice girls I really appreciate it!

Heather Im glad you understand where I am coming from, I just wish my employer had been pg before so she understands herself. At the beginning of the shift I am absolutly fine but as the night goes on it goes down hill from there I get very tired and achey so I go the loo for a sit down there lol.

I havent slowed down the pace either, its impossible to, as I still have as many tables if I slwoed down they wouldnt be getting very good service, then they would complain, I cant win! xxx

This thread has made me feel really angry for you (grrr). You really should be treated better than this - it's just not fair that you are expected to carry on as before when you want to be taking good care of you and baby.

As the other ladies have said, your employer is totally in the wrong and doesn't have a legal leg to stand on. So my advice would be to get tough!

Is there anyway you can stop doing the harder shifts like Friday and Saturday nights? You are in a really difficult situation and your manager does need to support you and try and make life easier for you. I agree with the others that you need to sit her down and speak to her before your shift starts and make sure you get your point across. Also, try speaking to CAB and make sure you're up to date on all your rights.

Good luck
