17 Weeks 3 days and still have not felt baby

Help.. Maybe I'm feeling it and not nowing that I am but I have not felt baby. I am size 16 and not sure if that plays a part. But my tummy above my belly button is more harder than the lower half. Help what does it feel like?

Honestly, try not to worry, I am not a particularly big woman but I only just felt the baby for the first time a few days ago. The midwife was not worried at all, it doesn't mean that something is wrong. Everyone is different!

For me it's still very faint and often feels a bit like gas or like I ate something funny

I started feeling mine last week, I just knew it was my baby. Its hard to describe, but it feels like a little push or kick under my belly button. But I think you will know that its your baby kicking, I couldnt mistake it for anything else.. You are still early and I think first time pregnancy its normal not to feel it till 20 weeks, so dont worry!

Please don't worry I'm a size 16 and felt baby move at 19 weeks. I had a spell in hospital with a kidney infection and one day after docs had been prodding my stomach for the millionth time I felt something a little strange going on inside and realised it must have been baby telling them to sod off! After that I felt it more and more often as I was more aware of the movements. Try drinking a cold glass of water and laying or sitting for half and hour. The midwife told me to do this when I was worried I'd felt no movements the other day and it got baby going. They say you feel the first movements anytime up to 22 weeks so you've got plenty of time! Wait till the little baba starts stomping on your cervix!

Don't worry hun...I didn't feel my baby until 19-20 weeks, now she's kicking up a storm. My kicks feel like it does when you poke the inside of your mouth with your tongue. Today she kicked a pretty hard one and I saw my belly actually move in that spot!

I'm 20 weeks and have only just started feeling definate movemants. My other half cannot feel them yet as you feel them more on the inside than on the outside at this stage. I did feel some flutterings but never anything definate that I could say was the baby moving. I am usually very busy during the day with work where I am on my feet all morning. Then when I get home I have my 6 year old twins to tend too! Its usually when I sit and have my quite time (9-10pm) that I start to feel it more as I am sat realaxing watching tv. I am also a size 14-16 and I believe that does make a difference. Don't worry you will feel your baby moving soon and it will be when you least expect it. I gave up googling for answers about feeling your babies movement. It made me worry more!
