I still haven't felt anything that I can for certain say was baby. I was a size 12 pre-pregnancy (I think that's about a size 16UK) and haven't gained much weight but I am still waiting for my first definite kick. Hoping it comes soon.

You are identical to me. The top of my belly is always harder than the rest of it. I didn't feel Tristan move till around 20 weeks. Now he keeps me awake for a couple hours each night. Don't worry.

Hi,

I am 17+1 and I have not felt anything. I have definitely had more wind (tmi) but I think that is literally just wind - lol. I have noticed that I have been a little discomfort with the stretching. Last night I was very tender and had to have a hot water bottle. Baby is clearly trying to find more space and it feel like muscle really wanting to stretch but not able to and therefore quite tender. I am normally a size 10.

xx

Don't stress. Your just going through that uncomfortbale stage I think, where it seems so far off until your next scan but you just want the reassurance that everything is ok.

I didn't feel Squirt until week 20 or so. My cousin didn't feel anything until week 24! It will be worth the wait once you feel that first movement and once you feel it for the first time, like my MIL said to me and so true, you will feel it ALL the time.

I haven't felt a thing yet that I could definitely say was my baby although I do know I have an anterior placenta which means the placenta is at the front of the baby and can cushion any kicks. I am desperate to feel the baby kick.

I am a size 16 and have an anterior placenta. I started feeling what I could only describe as little gas bubbles popping at around 18 - 20 weeks and that progressed to definate movement around 22 weeks. Now at 26 weeks my baby is very very active an as I sit here typing he/she is kicking me and I can see my belly moving.

My husband has only just felt baby kicking this past week too.

Everyone is different though so I wouldn't worry at all.
