hip size growth? maternity jeans question

hey do your hips ever stop growing through pregnancy I'm between sizes and want to buy some designer maternity jeans but don't want to get the size that seems cumfy and almost a perfect fit now only for another 4 weeks to go by and need new ones? what do you think...size one up and get them loose, or am I ok for the rest of the pregnancy at this point?

Hmmm, not sure, I know my boobs wont stop growing and I have gone from a UK size 12 to a 14/16 and they are still growing. Most of the shops say you just need to get your normal size but I dont see how this is possible if you start filling out around your bum. I got enormous work trousers that are too big for me and maybe I will grow into them! I would personally go size up just in case!

yea thats bull crap.. I started out pre pregnancy a size 26 and today at the maternity store i fit 30-31

It is a load or rubbish lol -Isn't it??? Everyone tells you to buy pre -pregnancy sizes and so far I have gone through maternity size 8, maternity size 10 and am now in size 12 -and its due to my hips ever-growing and my my thighs too funnily enough, rather than bump size alone. So I dont know what to advise, I do know that baby has a growth spurt between 20-24 weeks maybe after then you'd be a bit safer, and still get a looser size to grow into.

It's totally different for everyone I s'pose though, but this has been my experience this time lol.With my first pregnancy, I never bought any actual maternity clothing as I was tiny until about 7 1/2 months and they were all too big for me lol - then I just stuck to leggings and oversized shirts for the last few weeks cos there was no point buying maternity stuff at that stage.

When I was pregnant with my DS I bought some jeans about 20 weeks and by about 30 weeks I couldn't get them over my thighs and bum so in hindsight I would have got the bigger size x

I would get a size up. I got a my usual size but now they are too tight. So im on the next size up.

I'm in my pre-pregnancy size maternity jeans now at almost 23 weeks but they are starting to feel really uncomfortable and I'm thinking I'll have to get the next size up in a couple weeks. Tops i've been wearing anything from a size 10 to a 16 so I guess it just depends on the style a lot of the time.
