when my water broke, i always thought it would be tinged with blood, or have my mucous plug or something...but, mine was as literally clear as water, so I let it go all day as I went swimming that morning, and thought it was a bit of pool water that had gotten up there. That is, until it gushed down my legs and it looked like someone threw a bucket of water on me...but, before that point it was trickling. Clear though...the whole way through...no blood, no pink tinge...nothing. I didn't know that. LOL!

I am really worried that I do!
When i was in labour with riley, i spoke to my midwife about this before hand and she agreed not to tell me if I did untill afterwards! as it turned out, I didnt anyway, but she said a lot of people do, and the midwives arent phased by it at all. she said they usually just swish it away before you know you've done it.

Anyways, with my first labour I wish someone had of warned me how hard the contractions would come once they put up the drip to establish my contractions! I had reached 4cm with NO PAIN!!!! and then because I had pre eclampsia and was seeing lights and my BP was thru the roof, they put the drip up AND broke my waters! I think had I had chance to labour at my own pace I could have withstood the pains, but they come thick and fast with the drip up! I threw my birth plan out the window and had an epidural lol

I am hoping the fact that I got to 4cm dialated without real pain is a good sign for this one! lol. but we'll see

I'm not worried about the midwives seeing poo, it's my husband I'm worried about! He won't care, but I would!

The pooing in labor thing makes me laugh. I want them to tell me when it happens! Might make me less nervous because hey, the most embarrassing just happened!

Delivering the placenta....I knew it would happen, but when baby Brianna was in my arms I forgot I wasn't "done" yet.
