20 week scan today, so excited but so nervous!

Its just as the title says really. I have my scan today and I am so excited to see my LO again and hopefully find out the sex. But at the same time I am so nervous they will find something wrong, I have quite a small bump and worry about this - what if baby is too small. I do have a lot of movement and then worry about this - what if baby is distressed about something. I know I am being silly and all these worries have just cropped up because of my scan. But just cant help it!!!
Anybody else worry unnecessarily?

That post could have been written by me, took the words out of my mouth! I have my 20 week scan today an I am a little anxious too.I've got a small bump too but I feel the baby quite often which reassures me.

I think it is normal to worry and it shows you care. Maybe it gets us use to the constant worrying when they are born

Yeah i think we all worry, its normal! Good luck with your scans ladies - let us know how you get on. I have mine today too at 11:30 (uk) - i'm a bag of excitement and nerves, really hoping that if all is ok we can find out the sex but convinced that he/she will have their legs crossed or have their back turned!

Any news ladies? I am back from mine now, it took 45 mins as apparently baby was v. uncooperative! sonographer kept making me shake about like a belly dancer to get baby to move so she could get a pic of its heart! Anyway all was well and we are having a healthy baby boy! He had no problems showing us his little winky! oh dear - hope thats not a sign for things to come.........
Soooo excited, always thought it was a boy but still felt amazing to hear it confirmed. Look forward to hearing how other peoples went.

Hi Everyone
I am new to this site, I had my 20wk scan today, it took a while as baby was not co-operating, but got there in the end and everything is good. I did'nt find out sex as want it to be a suprise, but soooo difficult! ( I so want to know)
I think we are going to go for a 3d scan, they look amazing is anybody else thinking about it?
