my bump has a new friend....

A lovely stretch mark!!!! LOL i could have cried this morning when i saw it, im only 25 weeks and its my first baby and ive got a very small reddy coloured stretch mark.

Now i dont like to moan about these things because im scared of cursing myself into something bad happening when i moan over silly things.. but its bothering me alottttt, i was very slim before and typically very girly, clothes, shopping and looks have always been a big deal to me and im worried at only 25 weeks having my first stretch mark im going to be coverd in them

has anyone else got them yet?

xx

Yeah I've got em but someone suggested smothering my belly with coconut oil and there are some commercial type creams out there that are supposed to prevent them... anybody have the names? I used one in my last pregnancy but can't for the life of me remember what it is called right now!

yep im only 13 weeks and my boobs are covered in them!!! gone from a B cup to a D in about 5 weeks..... more to come eh!!

Apparently its the case that if you get one you get loads and if you dont get any then you aren't likely to ever get them and some even say that its hereditory.....

BTW anyone who is trying anything to get rid of these its a complete waste of money!! Sorry, ive been using bio oil and coconut butter on the ones on my thighs for the last 6months (since they arrived) and they have only got worse - im down to the conclusion that its just a money making scheme....

Good luck!!

I don't have any on my belly, but on my boobs underneath!! Such a weird place, just as long as they don't go on top of my boobs lol.

You actually have to apply this particular cream (of which the name still eludes me!) BEFORE they appear, cos there is precious little we can do once they come up! Afterall, they are a scar at the end of the day so prevention is the only cure unfortunately. My girlfriend swears she didn't get any more after applying this stuff, but I tried it a little too late in the game myself!lol

I havent got any yet, but am using oil stuff to try and prevent them from coming as there is little point using it after they appear, its not as affective afterwards.
So fingers crossed it works
