Thanks girls i feel such a horrible person for getting upset over this, but ive cried the past too nights over it! im so down and worried about how my body is going to look after the birth, i dont want my bf to look at me and think ewww stretch marks or flabby skin lol. i hope and pray i return to my normal frame, ive heard alot say they do and alot say they dont. ive been frantically applying the coco butter lol xx

You can't prevent them.....all you can do is minimize the appearance of them.

I think if people are going to get them they will get them. However, rubbing cream/oil in makes a lot of people feel better, me included! I religously use cocoa butter every night. I have a few faded stretch marks on my legs from before and havent got any more. Having said that, yesterday morning, I discovered some red dots on my boobs, I didnt know what they were and accused my Dh of elbowing me in the night (poor man). But from what I have read on here, just means they are growing! They have already gone from a DD to a G. When will they stop??? I havent got a huge frame - no wonder I am getting back ache!

I've been applying Bio Oil since about 18 weeks. No stretch marks yet, but I am pretty sure my mum didn't have any either. I hope I dodge them! Probably the Bio Oil does nothing but it's smells so good & it's done wonders for dry skin and my lovely chapped nipples
